Inbox review about the Revell F1 2002 – 1/12 scale

The overall impression of this kit is very good. The pre-painted parts look very well and the color seems to be right. I found two dust particles in the painted body of mine example. The wheels are from soft rubber and are state of the art F1 wheels. One minor point is that the Bridgestone decals for the tires are normal decals.

Hasegawa brings this splendid model on the market too, but according to the site of Hobbylink Japan it will be twice as expensive as here in Europe. In the Netherlands the Revell kit costs about 109 Euro and it is worth its money. Studio 27 brought the Marlboro decals (14 euro) on the market (see the pictures below).
If you want to buy this model I can advise you the Formula 1 Raceworld shop in Amsterdam. He offers the readers of hrmodeler an discount on this kit. If you buy the kit and decals in one buy with Raceworld it won't cost you 123 euro but 112 euro. (Without postage depending on the country to send to.)
If you want to go for this offer contact, Marcel Schoen from Raceworld by fax +31 20 642 51 20 or by mail and tell him you saw this inbox review at That is the way to get the discount. You can pay with visa or mastercard.

The review or diary (straight of the box) of this kit will start very soon. Enjoy building this one.
